This is the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office with an emergency message. This notice is for the Maplewood Estates area in Berthoud, north of Highway 287 and east of County Road 17. We are looking for 12 year old Braden Rhodes, 5’4″, thin build, sandy blonde hair, blue eyes and 10 year old Jonah Noxon, 5′, average build, dark brown hair, brown eyes. They are both believed to be wearing dark t-shirts and dark shorts, Braden has dark gray and orange shoes, Jonah’s shoes are gray. Both boys were last seen at 9pm last evening at their residence in Maplewood Estates in Berthoud. If you have any knowledge of their whereabouts or have seen them, please call Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at 970-416-1985. Please do not call 911 unless you have an emergency. Thank you.

Peak run off is expected later this week or early next week. Black ash and sediment in the water shed is occurring in some areas. Water quality is being monitored. Roads can be impacted in the fire burn scar or along river banks. Use caution as you recreate or travel through the burn areas.

Larimer County is starting to see impacts from recent rain events in the Cameron Peak Fire Area. Impacts include: ash flows and heavier stream flows. The upper end of Big Bear Road is no longer passable due to flood waters. Community members have plans to work on the road when conditions improve. Remain vigilant in and around the area as conditions can change rapidly.
