The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Central Larimer County Until 915 PM MDT.
Thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…Kinikinik, Rustic, Pingree Park, Chambers Lake, Red Feather Lakes and Pennock Pass. This includes the following additional locations…
Monument Gulch, Jacks Gulch, Upper Pingree Park Road, Lower Pingree Park Road, Sky Ranch, Gulches along Highway 14 near and above Rustic, Rising water and large debris in the Poudre River, Pingree Hill, Goodell Corner, Bellaire Lake, Crown Point Road, The Upper Poudre Canyon, The Laramie River Road near Chambers Lake, Long Draw Road and Remote areas in the Cameron Peak Wilderness.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Heavy Rainfall will cause flash flooding of small creeks, streams,
and ditches in the affected part of the Cameron Peak burn area. Rock
slides or debris flows can also be expected across rural roads.

The flash flood warning in the Poudre Canyon has been extended east to Kinikinik. If you live along creeks, streams or rivers in the Cameron Peak burn area, please be aware of your surroundings and use extreme caution. If necessary, act quickly to protect your life and climb to higher ground.

Rain will continue throughout this evening. Please monitor local news, weather radios and nocoalert.org for more updates.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for southwestern Larimer County until 6:45 PM MDT. Thunderstorms producing heavy rain is ongoing on expected to begin shortly in the area of Chambers Lake and Long Draw Road.

Heavy rainfall will cause flash flooding of small creeks, streams, and ditches in the affected part of the Cameron Peak burn area. Rock slides or debris flows can also be expected across rural roads.

This is the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office with a follow up message for County Road 44H. Officials have lifted the voluntary evacuation for residents along County Road 44H from County Road 27 west to Pennock Pass. Residents that evacuated may return home. Please use caution returning to the area, as crews continue to work on road repairs to County Road 44H. The road will remain closed to the public until all repair work is completed.
