Community Credentialing | Cameron Peak Fire Preparation (2)
To help our citizens prepare for the possibility of new evacuations due to the Cameron Peak Fire, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and Larimer County Office of Emergency Management will be issuing credentials for residents and property owners that have not already received credentialing. Credentials are for post-fire access to areas impacted by fire activity. They are not for day-to-day access to your property before evacuations are ordered. Credentialing is available for residents and property owners from the communities of Red Feather Lakes, Crystal Lakes, Rustic, those in the Pingree Hill area (CR69 between Rustic and Goodell Corner), and those that have already been evacuated (voluntary or mandatory). Credentialing will occur on Friday August 21st from 0800 to 4:00 pm at 200 W Oak St Fort Collins. Enter the building when you arrive and go inside to the 1st floor hearing room. No new evacuations have been ordered at this time. This is a preparation activity only. Visit www.larimer.org/cpf for specific information on required documentation to receive your credentialing. If there are further evacuations put in place there will be additional opportunities to receive a credential. To hear the entire message in detail call 970-658-2244.
