Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Flash Flood Warning

This is the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office with an emergency message. The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for many areas of the Cameron Peak burn scar. This message is for those in the Glen Haven, Storm Mountain, and Retreat areas. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE EXTENSIVE AND SEVERE FLOODING OF CREEKS, STREAMS, ROADS AND CULVERTS IN THE AFFECTED PART OF THE CAMERON PEAK BURN AREA. ROCK SLIDES OR DEBRIS FLOWS CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED ACROSS ROADS IN THE WARNING AREA. Please be prepared to move to higher ground if heavy rainfall produces the anticipated flash flooding.
